What to know
The Florida Seafood Festival returns to Battery Park in Apalachicola on November 6–7, 2026. Gates open at 10 a.m. and close at 10:30 p.m. both days. Friday admission is free; Saturday admission is $10, with children under 12 admitted free. Food purchases are separate. The program includes seafood vendors, crafts and music. Saturday’s oyster-shucking contest starts at 1 p.m., followed by the oyster-eating contest at 1:15 p.m. Pets are not allowed; service animals are permitted.
