Before you make a plan

• For watching, use NYRR's course map to choose a borough and a meeting point. The published 2026 course crosses all five boroughs; check the relevant edition's map before traveling.
• For running in 2027, review your entry method now. NYRR lists several routes, but drawing and claim dates remain subject to organizer announcements.
• A qualifying time from a non-NYRR marathon does not guarantee entry. Check the qualifying window and application rules before committing to a race trip.
